Seven foundations of motivation
1. Have a purpose for what you do
Most people would say, I go to work and pay my bills. Well if that your purpose or what God put you on this earth for than more power to you, but most people don't like their job and worse yet hate it. So first of, identify what your purpose of why you are put on this planet, and when you do, you will realize your true potential. Life is way too short to sit and wish I would of done that or this. So identify your purpose and when you do you have maximum level of motivation.

2. Have a passion for what you do.
This is shocking but yet simple. If you don’t like your current state or condition or job then get out. Do something different, what do you want to do? You have a choice of what you want to do and with passion all things are possible.

3. Be a non stop continuous learning machine.
Most people think after school, you close the book and stop learning. They couldn't be more dead wrong. Life is about learning, and stagnation is no good. If you don’t learn some is and will leave you in the dust. So be an eager and learning machine, keep up with the industry, if you are not growing you are slowing.

4. Be a mentor or have a mentor
Mentor will inspire you and get you to reach the level where you never though you are capable. And be a mentor to someone will give you the opportunity to give back and make a difference in others.

5. Know what you get motivated or stimulated.
What are the things get you motivated and things that don’t and keep doing the things that fired you up and stay away from things that don’t. It can be your surrounding, people that you call friends, that seem to have endless energy, be their friends will get you motivated, and vice versa stay away from Debbie Downer. Of course, not everyday is a good day, so my plan to you is write a bad day prescription, why not, when we are sick we have med prescription. So a write yourself a bad day prescription( strategy) when you are in a good frame of mind. So when you are having a bad day pull it out and follow it. Again, you control your environment, positive or negative it is your choice.

6. Reward yourself for achievement
Give yourself something if you made it. If you lose weight, then go show it off at the vacation beach in the Bahamas. Why not? If not you are stealing yourself off in your subconscious mind. working and working and nothing.. So enjoy your earning your achievement. It doesn’t have to be money or anything, but do reward yourself as a positive reinforcement and this will lead to phenomenal success as you train your mindset. “enjoy the fruit of your labor”

7. Practice long term thinking, thinking step ahead..
Long term plan, this is a critical piece of motivation. 1 month, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years plan and longer.
Here is a great question ,if you do everything accord to your plan. Exactly and become a millionaire would you do? Then why aren’t you doing it?

You see people have passion, but the problem is that it will be short live, they will soon lose that passion within months if not sooner. You see, passion has to be trained and up keep like all things and to do this you have to have a plan and train your mind to overcome this by mastering your state of mind.
